Join fellow Dark Clouds Silver Lining volunteers on Sunday, 12/16, as they team up with Cookie Cart St. Paul to spend a few hours working with some awesome teens.
Cookie Cart provides teens 15 to 18 years old with lasting and meaningful work, life and leadership skills through experience and training in an urban nonprofit bakery.
Silver Lining volunteers will model professional behavior to youth employees while helping them practice their interpersonal skills. By working alongside the teens to make and package delicious cookies, volunteers will also be providing informal networking and career exploration.
Silver Lining volunteered at Cookie Cart’s Minneapolis location in August, and it was a highlight of the year for many of us. You won’t want to miss out on this fun and rewarding opportunity to hang out with teens and delicious cookies!
