Dark Clouds Share Silver Lining with Free Bikes 4 Kidz
Come meet some awesome teens, and spend a few hours working with cookies!
Cookie Cart “provides teens 15 to 18 years old with lasting and meaningful work, life and leadership skills through experience and training in an urban nonprofit bakery.”
Silver Lining volunteers will work alongside the teen employees to make and package delicious cookies–modeling professional behavior while helping them practice their interpersonal skills and chatting informally about career exploration.
After the event, join fellow volunteers for an after-party with beer specials at Boom Island Brewing.
