PurpleStride is the signature event of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Each year, in communities across the country, tens of thousands of people participate. These events are critical in raising awareness and funds that advance research and support patients and loved ones with a promise of a better tomorrow.
PurpleRideStride is the only event with a ride component amongst 56 PurpleStrides across the country! The event will take place on 09/16/2017 along a lovely route at Elm Creek Regional Park. The course will take riders on a 50 mile, 25 mile, or 8 mile ride and runners on a timed 5K run. The event also includes a 1.5 mile family-friendly walk.
We’re looking for 9 Dark Clouds Silver Lining volunteers to man two of the water stations along the race course. We will encourage the participants to continue along the course, hand out water & snacks, and create a fun atmosphere for riders as they approach the rest stop.

After the event we’ll head to OMNI BREWING for some post-Silver Lining comradery and to celebrate our efforts and talk about the Loons!
