At the Nomad World Pub on Saturday at 1:30 pm, we’ll show the world our new cloud. As the Loons kick off their new season, the Dark Clouds will embrace a new cloud to rally around.
We think our new cloud carries on our history, evolves our symbol into a war banner without letting it slip into being a Portland hipster barber shop logo or a paint by numbers soccer shield. The new cloud is the culmination of a long artistic process; Turns out it’s pretty hard to draw clouds that don’t just look like poop. You’ll want to be there when it’s first revealed.
What’s the old cloud? It’s flown over us for 10 years:
We love the old cloud but we don’t own it and the artist won’t sell us the rights. So we’re getting a new one.
To go along with the unveiling, we’ll have free goodies like stickers and buttons with the new cloud for you to take home. Our 2016 Dark Clouds Scarf will also be available for purchase.
