You like tifo. We like tifo. So let’s all get together and make something awesome for the opener!

Our friends at Summit are hosting us, with pizza and good beer.

Details at a glance:
What: Help make the home opener tifo
When:
 April 9 (Saturday) – 10:00am – 2:00pm CDT
Where: Summit Brewery Training Room 900 Montreal Circle St. Paul, MN 55102
RSVP Signup: Click here (http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e054aa9ac23a6fb6-home)

There are two ways to help!

1. Sign up for the assembly crew to help us put the tifo together in person, and get a sneak peek at some other tifo projects – all ages competent to use scissors and safety pins are welcome.

2. Make a square! We’re building this year’s home opener tifo pixel by giant pixel out of blankets and scarves that will be donated to charity groups in our community. Has anyone tried this before? We don’t think so. Does that make it an awesome thing you can help with and live as part of the legend? Also yes.

If this is new territory for you don’t #PANIC. There are tutorials on-line that make this easy even with no experience at all: Braided Edge and Project Linus Pattern Collection.

Doreen has a knitting machine or 3, and you’re welcome to contribute whatever kind of fiber art it is you do, or email her at tifo@dark-clouds.com to take a turn using the tools.

Best sources for fabric if you’ve never shopped for it before? Check S. R. Harris, or hit up a chain with a coupon (there are always coupons).
