On Saturday, October 26th we say goodbye to two more Dark Cloud legends: Paul Demko & Kevin Friedland.
Demko will be remembered for leading the Indomitable Drinky Crows to the Minneapolis Parks co-ed championship in 2009. (The trophy can still be seen at the Sweetwater.) He also scored on a diving header while holding a cigar in one hand and a beer in the other. A feature film is being made of his life called Smoke & Drink – The Paul Demko Story. Look for it on Kickstarter. Paul is off to Washington to help ease DC United relegation to NASL.
Friedland – player, coach, champion, jersey-maker, friend, legend. Kevin has announced his retirement from soccer. Kevin Friedland is a blue, hates Milwaukee.
