Join us to share your Silver Lining at the Fort Road Flats Apartments on March 24. Over the last few months, volunteer groups have painted the entire 44-unit building and we’ll have a chance to share our Silver Lining on the last day of the paint-a-thon, tackling the third floor hallways.
Project for Pride in Living (PPL) builds the hope, assets and self-reliance of individuals and families who have lower incomes by providing transformative affordable housing and employment readiness service.
We’re looking for 10 volunteers to join us. We’re starting at 10:00 am and the painting should be completed by 1:00pm. Volunteers are asked to wear clothes they don’t mind getting paint on and to bring a refillable water bottle (and a bag lunch, if desired). There is free street parking surrounding the building – just don’t park on W. 7th.
For those who volunteer we’ll be going to Tin Whiskers afterwards for some BOGO beers.
