Last year, we held a Silver Lining event with the Green Garden Bakery, a youth-run business that sells vegetable-based desserts to the Minneapolis community. Next month, we’re heading back to help out this great organization again.
Join us Saturday, June 10 from 9am to 4pm to help tear down old pallets and build some new infrastructure for the organization.
We’re looking for 15 volunteers to help build a garden shed and a compost bin. Building skills are helpful but are by no means required! Lunch will be provided.
UPDATE: We’ll have a post event happy hour from 4-6 at Utepils brewing. HUGE thanks to Utepils for rewarding our volunteers with some excellent beers!
